Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A K-12 school in Saginaw, MI is seeking qualified Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) for contract positions during the current school year (CSY). Two openings are available, primarily serving a Pre-K caseload. While onsite candidates are preferred, tele-SLPs will also be considered.
Location: Saginaw, MI (please also consider candidates in Grand Blanc, Lansing, and Detroit areas)
Position Details:
- Contract duration: November 8, 2025 June 12, 2026
- 35 hours per week
- Open to both experienced SLPs and Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates (CFYs must have temporary Michigan licensure and ideally an established supervisor)
- Must hold or be eligible for a Michigan state license as a Speech Language Pathologist
- Candidates will be asked about their approach to supporting urban children and the resources appropriate for their students and families
- University transcripts are required to accompany resumes and candidate profiles
Qualifications:
- Valid Michigan license as an SLP (including temporary for CFY)
- Experience or interest in working with Pre-K and K-12 populations
- Strong interpersonal skills to support diverse student populations
- Ability to work onsite preferred; teletherapy considered
- Willingness to discuss strategies for addressing the needs of urban children and families
